ONE DAY SPECIAL HOCHANDA TV

+ Scrap'Ain Online Craft Show

Dear AALL & Create Fanatics

We hope you're keeping safe and well and enjoying the beautiful weather.

This weekend we should have been sharing a fun weekend in Chambery, France at the Scrap’ain Craft Show run by Laure Lebard (the LL in AALL & Create).

The Scrap'ain team did not want all of the people who would have been there to miss out on all of the fun, so they have taken the show online and now everyone can join in wherever they are in the world! The AALL & Create team will be joining in with demos and activities so be sure to take a look and take part.

There have already been two live demonstrations with AALL & Create products on Saturday from Christelle Bille on Facebook and Autour de Mwa (Abs) on Instagram, but don’t worry if you missed them, you can still watch them here

Autour de Mwa will be sharing his artistic talents with us by doing more live demonstrations on Instagram at 8pm Uk time HERE so make sure to tune in for more inventive ideas to spark your imagination and get you creating your own projects.

We love to see your finished projects so please do share them on social media and don’t forget to tag us so we can admire your work and you can inspire other AALL & Create fanatics too

Let's Get Creative:

Free tutorial by our DT:

Today, we are lucky to have a tutorial from our British DT member, Kelly, a talented, versatile, mixed media artist who loves to work with bright, invigorating colours. We are very happy to have her as part of our team

She has a fabulous tutorial for us.

Here is the tutorial:

Step 1 - On a piece of card measuring 13cm x 19.5cm stamp the Beetle border stamp #335 in archival ink across the middle of the page. Turning the stamp upside down stamp some of the chequered pattern in the bottom left and top right. Stamp the large beetle onto another piece of card stock, this we will colour and cut out later on.

Step 2 - Using some of the words from stamp set #338 stamp the words in red second generation ink in random places around the card then over stamp, slightly offsetting with the same image in black second generation ink.

Step 3 - Using stencil #39 Lotza Dotz take purple ink direct to the stencil, spritz the stencil with water and place on the background, using a piece of kitchen towel to absorb any ink that seeps through the stencil.

Step 4 - Repeat this technique with yellow ink and stencil #67 Broken Circles.

Step 5 - Using stamp #350 Splattered Numbers stamp the large ‘4’ & ‘5’ numbers in blue ink and using stamp set #338 Background Noise stamp the numbers in red in random places.

Step 6 - Using stencil #39 Lotza Dotz again taking the red ink to the stencil as in step 3 adding colour where there is white space or were you feel needs it. Then using purple and red ink colour the beetles and cut the large one out.

Step 7 - Stamp the flowers from stamp set #332 twice, colour with red ink and cut out 5 of the flowers. Stamp the “Happy Birthday” stamp from the same set and cut in between the two words, distress around the edge of the words and around the edge of the card in the purple ink and adhere to black cardstock. Attach the beetle and the flowers using 3D glue or pads. Attach the artwork to a C5 card.
