Let the fun begin [Part 1/4]
ONE DAY SPECIAL HOCHANDA TV
+ Scrap'Ain Online Craft Show
Dear AALL & Create Fanatics
We hope you're doing well and keeping safe.....
Today we are double celebrating creativity...to start the fun we have the artistic
talents of our own Autour de Mwa (Abs) working with Bipasha’s new designs, these
beautiful new stamps feature all the gorgeous detail that Bipasha is well known for.
There is also an exciting new concept for AALL & Create, a mirrored design which is
perfect for use with the Gelli plate or any technique where you need a reverse
image.
We hope that you have been able to catch yesterday's shows for our One Day
Special on Hochanda. We have been enjoying all the demos and inspiring samples.
If you missed them you can watch them on rewind (yesterday's shows were on at
6pm and 8 pm).
Today's shows will be at 8 am, 12 pm and 4 pm. We hope you can tune in and enjoy
all of the action.
Abs will be working his magic with inspirational and informative demos with lots of
creative ideas to make the most of these lovely and original designs.
Every show is enhanced by the beautiful and imaginative samples created by the
Design Team, they really bring the images to life and demonstrate the versatility of
these amazing stamps. We thank them for all their hard work.
Many of our followers know that under normal circumstances, we would now be
spending a fun weekend in Chambery, France, attending the Scrap'ain Craft Show,
organised by Laure Lebard (the LL in AALL & Create).
The Scrap'ain team did not want all of the people who would have been there to miss
out on all of the fun, so they have taken the show online and now everyone can join
in wherever they are in the world! The AALL & Create team will be joining in with
demos and activities so be sure to take a look and take part. Join the fun via the
AALL BLOG and the AALL & Create Fanatics Facebook group on today and
tomorrow.

Let's Get Creative:
To start the creative fun, our talented French DT member Christelle Bille will be doing a facebook live session at 2.00pm UK time (3.00pm in Europe).
The inspiration continues at 8.30pm UK time (9.30pm in Europe) when Autour de Mwa -Abs- is going live on Instagram to provide us with even more ideas and techniques. HERE
If you are inspired to create your own projects, we would love to see them, so don’t be shy, add them to social media and don’t forget to tag us so we can admire your work.
Free tutorial by our DT:
Today, we are lucky to have tutorials from our Spanish DT member, Veronica,
whose style is bright, fun and vibrant with lots of stunning detail and finishing
touches. We love having her as a hard working member of the team.
She has treated us today with not one by two tutorials
Here is the tutorial 1:
Hello creative friends!
Vero is here with some colourful cards that I hope you like. I have been playing with some of the new stamps.
This is very easy to do. Cut watercolour paper that measures approximately 4x6 inches.
In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed.
The next step is to colour with different pigments or inks (as if they were watercolours) to gradually form the background.
When the background is dry, I embossed in white, using stamps #350 Splattered Numbers by Tracy Evans
Now we add textures and depth with black permanent ink, printed here and there. I have also used distress oxide inks to stamp. I used stamps #366 Roundly by Autour de Mwa and #351 Alphabet Splatter by Tracy Evans.
To make the print look distressed or watercoloured, I sprayed water on the card and dried with a cloth or absorbent paper.
One of the most fun parts of the creative process is stamping and colouring. I use a permanent black ink (versafine).
I stamped #350 Splattered Numbers by Tracy Evans on the background that we prepared at the beginning, then cut them out to use in the composition.
To create a more fun effect, I sewed the cut numbers to the paper.
Undoubtedly the most fun part is the composition, in addition to being the part that takes the longest time hahaha. I chose the girl from set # 359 Raincoat by Janet Klein as the protagonist. We finish with permanent black ink on the edges of the card and some stitching with the sewing machine.
Finally, some photos with details of the project.
With the same steps as project 1, I made another card. Cut the cardstock to 3.5 x 6.5 inches. I used stamps # 354 Bunny & Bunnies by Janet Klein, #350 Splattered Numbers by Tracy Evans and #313 Reverse Dotz by Autour de Mwa

Vero is here again with a shaker card that I hope you like. I have been playing with some of the new stamps.
This is very easy to do. Let’s go... cut watercolour paper to measure approximately 4x6 inches. In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed. The next step is to colour with different pigments or inks (as if they were watercolours) to gradually form the background
When the background is dry, I embossed in white, using the stamp #366 Roundly by Autour de Mwa.
Sew acetate to the card on three sides
Add some sequins, and then finish sewing the fourth side
One of the most fun parts of the creative process is stamping and colouring. I use a permanent black ink (versafine).
Undoubtedly the most fun part is the composition, in addition to being the one that takes the longest time hahaha. I chose the girl from stamp set #357 Fly by Janet Klein as the protagonist. Finally, here are some photos with details of the project.
