Day 5 Inspirations

Dear AALL & Create Followers

I hope you are all keeping well and perhaps benefitting from some touches of spring sunshine through your window or in your gardens.

Well what an exciting day it has been! Our ODS One Day Special on Hochanda TV yesterday has gone really well. It has been a bit different from normal with the current constraints but it has all worked well and it was a joy to watch Leonie Pujol doing her stuffin the studio! THANK YOU! We are feeling very grateful to you all; so many of you have tuned in, given feedback and made orders for the lovely products. We will be sending them out to you from today and we hope you will all enjoy using them to create lovely things!

So we have another day of inspirations and another tutorial for you. We do hope that you will enjoy these offerings from our talented designers.

Abs, aka Autour de Mwa, is sending out a daily, inspiration-filled Instagram Live at 7.30 (UK time) on his account @autourmwa

Tracy Evans is delivering regular Facebook Lives on her Facebook account so keep an eye on what crafty things she is doing and catch up with all her creative activities.

We have a whole series of fabulous inspirations in store for you, some with tutorials as well, from the design team and we hope they will continue to fire up your creativity!

DAILY INSPIRATION

Today we have a mixture of projects to inspire you from members of the AALL & Create team.

We have tried to give you a nice balanced variety to show off some different styles. We hope you feel inspired...

Olga Heldwein's tag project showcases her designs really well. She has created layers with a grungy under layer separated from the floral scroll of the focal image by an additional diaphanous middle layer. The overall colour scheme unites the different layers.

The products used are stamp set #80 Lined and stamp set #232 Friendship both by Olga Heldwein.

Christelle Bille has used a grungy urban look to create a very cool vibe for this artwork. Bright colours, sharp black edging and lots of detail all combine to create the overall impression.

Products used are stencils #71 Steam Cogs by Olga Heldwein and #39 Lotza Dotz by Autour de Mwawith stamps #282 Frame It by Tracy Evans, #293 Squared Digits by Bipasha Bk, #313 Reverse Dots & #10 Background by Autour de Mwa and #264 Archway by Bipasha Bk.

Join us at the workbench of Abs - Autour de Mwa to see what he is working on. With spring coming, he is playing with some fresh spring colours, building up layers in the backgrounds to create depth and contrast against the focal images.

Stamps used are #266 Daisy Elegance by Tracy Evans, #227, #153 Botanicals, #269 Flourish by Bipasha Bk. Stencils used are #87 Totally Dotty, #67 Broken circles, #59 Weathered Tiles by Autour de Mwa, #84 Profusion, #85 Abundance, #86 Twiriling Tendrils by Olga Heldwein. Dies used are #12 Code, #13 #14 Cells by Bipasha Bk.

This impressive card made by Bipasha Bk is an exercise in elegance. The white on black background is smart and stylish. The gold key stands out with just some touches of red and blue keeping the colour scheme pared back.

The products used are stamp #268 Shuttered Window, #12 Code and dies set #14 Cells both by Bipasha bk

Tracy Evans has used a delicately speckled and dusted pink colour scheme to add a gentle feeling to this bold bloom. She encourages us not to shy away from little unusual details as they often add intrigue and draw the eye.

The stamps used are her A5 Thankful Petals #272 and her A7 Heartfelt #304.

This colourful notebook was created by Kelly Ketteringham. The pen nibs are a great idea on a notebook that you might want to draw and write inside. The photo on the back cover adds a note of quirky, vintage cuteness.

She used stamp #276 Knibs & Mushrooms and #234 Brush Flower by Tracy Evans, stamp #313 Reverse Dots and stencils #58 Mock-croc and #87 Totally Dotty all by Autour de Mwa.

Bipasha BK Has created a charming rustic look with this project. Adding moss is an inspired idea that is evocative as well as giving texture and colour. It is a great way to showcase her designs. The gentle glow in the lamp, the sweet robin and the welcoming sign all combine to make this a door you would want to open!

She created this project using her stamps #264 Archway and #279 Medieval Elements.

At a time when many of us can only dream of travelling, Simona Rebecchi takes us on a fantasy journey with this art journal page. The juxtaposition of objects and the swirling geometric shapes are suggestive of the dream-like quality of surrealist art.

She worked with stamps #196 For Him and #264 Archway by Bipasha Bk plus stencils #79 Sputnik by Olga Heldwein and #87 Totally Dotty by Autour de Mwa.
