Day 8 Inspirations
Dear AALL & Create Followers
I hope you are all staying safe and well at this time.
During this time of lockdown, many of us are finding new ways to keep in touch the friends that we see regularly. We all need to feel connected and phone calls, emails, electronic messages and video links are all great ways to keep our connections going and to check in on how each other is doing.
The writer C.S. Lewis said;
“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one.”
It can be like that for us in the arts and crafts world when we meet people who share our passion for our hobby. We can foster all sorts of different kinds of friendships with these people because of our shared passions, whether we know them online or have met them face to face.
Sometimes when we do a challenge and as part of it we ask people to tag their crafty friends there are people who comment that they don't have many to tag. So today we are challenging you to reach out on our forums and make new friends with people who share this hobby. Why not comment that you would like to make new crafty friends or add someone who comments. Just because we can't socialise at the moment doesn't mean we can't make up for it and still make new friends! Let's build our crafting community!
We are so excited to have a brand new ODS - One Day Special 6th & 7th April (next Monday and Tuesday) and we are even more delighted to have Leonie Pujol guesting for us for that One Day Special (ODS) on Hochanda TV.
We can't wait to see this happening, as it will be a real treat and Leonie is always such a pleasure to watch. We know how much she loves AALL & Create products and her enthusiasm really rubs off!
